flip-out style mirror can be positioned anywhere along the vertical and/or horizontal axis to allow the operator
to see the camera LCD screen for composition no matter what his/her shooting style.LCD Monitor Inversion Function When the camera is connected to the housing via the LANC or AV cable, the LCD monitor inversion function of the Sony camera reverses the monitor image (L to R) in the tilt-out mirror to maintain the correct right to left image orientation. This means easier shooting and better imaging! Even though a mirror is used, the monitor image is not reversed from left to right!  Monitor Back
The Seatool housing for the SR11/12 can be ordered with an integrated 3" LCD monitor back. This high quality .23MP
monitor has the highest pixel density of any monitor available for underwater housings. Powered by 4 AA batteries,
you can enjoy up to 11 hours (when used with Sanyo Eneloop batteries) of use per charge.  Models for the HC7/HC9 and SR11/SR12 can be retrofit to add the monitor back functionality.  External Monitor
Older housings including SR1/UX1 and SR7/SR8, as well as current housings including the HC7/HC9, SR11/SR12
and CX12 can be upgraded to use an external monitor by the addition of a monitor connection to the back of
the housing.The internal componants are the same as used in the monitor back housings, insuring you the best possible video playback and composition available for underwater use.
